A good bonfire is just what you need on the first working party of the year. Fortunately there was lots of wood to burn and six volunteers were kept busy feeding the flames. |

New site design launched | 27th December, 2011 |

The website has been updated with a new design. The new design has features to provide better support for both larger monitors and the new small form factor devices which are becoming popular with boaters such as tablet PC's. We hope you like the new look. |

A cold and slightly damp day greeted the volunteers on Sunday's work party. The major task completed was clearing some brambles near Stainton in preparation for the WRG summer camps. |

WRG Canal Camps 2012 | 27th November, 2011 |

The Waterways Recovery Group will be spending two weeks on the Northern Reaches of the Lancaster Canal enabling significant progress to be made on returning a length of canal to water. |

Preston End Clean Up | 14th November, 2011 |

The LCT's November Work Party was a joint affair with the North Lancashire and Cumbria Branch of the IWA. This was the first of a number of cleanup events in preparation for the 2012 IWA Campaign Festival which will be be held at Haslam Park. |
