Apparently some coping stones have fallen in the canal near to the service station on the offside. This is causing an obstruction to navigation and restriction to the offside footpath.
A BW workboat has been moored over the obstructionin the navigation as a temporary measure and fencing has been erected on the footpath.
They apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
They also suggest that customers take extra care when mooring to use the service station facilities while the restriction is in force.
The end of the restriction will be advised.
