After a lot of work by the Trust's volunteer's 'Waterwitch' is back in the water in preparation for another season of free trips on the beautiful Lancaster Canal near Crooklands. The boat has been totally repainted and the engine refurbished as part of a programme of winter maintenance tasks which should keep her cruising for many years yet.
Helen Thomas simulates breaking a bottle of champagne over the bow, but a much better use was found for the contents of the bottle!!
