We'll be meeting at 10 am as usual, and the meeting point this time is Dukes Bridge. From Kendal / the North Follow the A65 past Crooklands. At the roundabout, go straight ahead towards Burton-in-Kendal on the A6070. After a mile, turn right, and the parking is just over the bridge. From the South Either :- come off the M6 at Junction 36, turn right then right again at the two roundabouts, towards Burton-in-Kendal on the A6070. After a mile, turn right, and the parking is just over the bridge Or :- Follow the A6 from Carnforth or Junction 35 off the M6. Turn right on the A6070 towards Burton in Kendal. Go through Burton, and about ¾ of a mile past Holme Park Quarry, turn left and the parking is just over the bridge For those with Sat Nav The nearest postcode is LA6 1PB. Be aware, though, that this takes you into the centre of the village, which is on the opposite side of the crossroads to Dukes Bridge. For those of you who haven't been before, we normally expect to finish around 4-5pm, although there is no compulsion to stay to the end.
