The Challenges

The restoration of the canal from Tewitfield to Kendal will require many different obstacles to be overcome. Some are relatively simple while others are more complex and will require expensive engineering solutions. The panel below is a reproduction of the information board which has been placed on a plinth at Tewitfield to explain to visitors the challenges ahead.
